Birmingham Wednesday Social Netball

In an exhilarating week of netball action, the Birmingham Wednesday league thrilled fans in Week 7 of the season. 

Netchix faced off against Longbridge Ladies in a fiercely contested clash. However, Longbridge Ladies received a 16-6 victory. Their successful execution of an aggressive offensive strategy and airtight defence saw them emerge as the clear winners. Marshnetters demonstrated their prowess with a 13-6 win over Rednal Roses. 

The highest scoring match of the week saw Longbridge Shooters secure a 24-5 win against Sapphires. 

The standout performance of the week, however, came from Netball Rail's Emily Burdon, who was named the Most Valued Player. Emily demonstrated an outstanding level of athleticism and strategic acumen, leading her team with grace under pressure. 

As the Birmingham Wednesday league continues, the sense of anticipation grows. With the bar set high this week, fans are sure to be eagerly awaiting the next round of matches.
