The second week of the fiercely competitive Kineton Monday Netball League just concluded, and it was a night of blistering intensity, noteworthy performances, and unexpected surprises. The League saw some exciting games, with Kineton Angels and The Ballers securing significant victories against their respective rivals.

The Kineton Angels faced off against their town rivals, the Kineton Shooters, in a thrilling encounter. The Angels showcased their dominance, winning the game with a commendable score of 13-5. Their superior teamwork and stellar defense made it difficult for the Shooters to penetrate their goal circle, leaving the Angels to cruise to an effortless victory.

Meanwhile, The Ballers also proved their supremacy in the League division by triumphing over the Netball Ninjas with an impressive score of 24-9. The Ballers were on fire, showing no signs of slowing down as they continuously found the net to secure their victory.

Despite the Ninjas' defeat, their player Pamela Putt shone brightly, earning the accolade of the week's Most Valued Player. Her fantastic performance on the court was a silver lining for the team. Putt exhibited admirable sportsmanship, agility, and a keen eye for the goal, reminding everyone that a true sportsperson's spirit is reflected not just in victory but also in defeat.

It's still early days in the season, but the Kineton Angels and The Ballers have emerged as the top scorers in the League, setting a high bar for other teams in the division. As we move into Week 3, all eyes will be on them to see if they can maintain their momentum. In the world of netball, the competition is fierce, and anything can happen on the court.
