Kenilworth Sunday Social Netball Update 24th March
The Kenilworth social league is not running this coming Sunday 31st March due to it being Easter Sunday. You can all sit at home and eat as many Easter Eggs as you want but don`t worry, we will be back the Sunday after on the 7th April and you can work off those chocolate eggs!
In one of the most closely contested games of the evening, Goal Diggers secured a narrow victory over And Bringing Up The Rear with a scoreline of 9-8. This victory underlines Goal Diggers' determination and competitive spirit, exhibiting a performance that kept everyone captivated till the final whistle.
Castles, with a remarkable performance from their most valued player Sally Thatcher, defeated Cherry Bombs 13-8. Sally, known for her agility and precision, put on a spectacular show, contributing significantly to the team's victory. Her exceptional gameplay not only earned her team the victory but also the title of the most valued player of the week.
Bellestars, despite their best efforts, were unable to match the energy of Pink Parrots, with the latter team emerging victorious, 15-8. The Parrots' performance was a testament to their strategic planning and execution on the court.
The highest scoring game of the night was between Sparta and Hoops We Did It Again, with Sparta securing a 18-6 victory. This victory further strengthens Sparta's position in the league and sets them up well for the forthcoming games.
