The excitement was palpable this week as the sixth week of the Kenilworth Sunday Social Netball unfolded, featuring nail-biting matches, high scoring games, and outstanding individual performances highlighted the event.

The thrilling encounter between And Bringing Up The Rear and Sparta headlined the night. Despite a valiant effort by And Bringing Up The Rear, they fell short as the final scoreline read 14-8 in favour of Sparta. 

Elena Simpson of And Bringing Up The Rear put on a spectacular performance, earning her the most valued player title of the week. Her deft manoeuvres, pin-point passing, and tireless defence were truly the silver lining in their tough loss.

The next match saw the Pink Parrots playing against Bellestars outscoring them by 13-2. Rounding off the night was an edge-of-your-seat encounter between Cherry Bombs and Goal Diggers. A tightly contested game, with both teams matching each other blow for blow, ended in a narrow victory for the Goal Diggers with a scoreline of 7-6.

As the league moves into its seventh week, the competition is heating up with teams vying for the top spot.
