Play in the Hinckley Sunday Netball League powered by You Play Netball

It was a fantastic start to the new Hinckley Sunday Netball League, with all teams getting stuck in and bringing great energy to their opening games across both divisions.

In Division 1, Warrior Queens and Burbage Ballers played out a really close and exciting match, with both teams battling hard right until the final whistle. Shooting Stars made a strong start too, showing great attacking play and teamwork throughout their game. Phoenix Flyers and Netchicks Season 2 also delivered a tightly contested match, keeping things competitive from start to finish.

Over in Division 2, there were plenty more close games and great moments. Take A Shot and Hit Me With Your Best Shot had a brilliant, closely fought game, while Nets Get Into The Groove showed great confidence and teamwork in their performance. Pitch Slaps and Pink Ladies! also played out an entertaining match, with both teams showing great determination.

A big shoutout goes to Jane Glover from Pitch Slaps, who was named Player of the Week after an outstanding performance and great impact on the court.

Overall, it’s been a really positive and exciting start to the league. It’s great to see all teams getting involved and enjoying their netball — we’re looking forward to seeing how everyone develops over the coming weeks!
