Walsall Monday Night Netball - Week 10
The 10th week of the exciting Walsall Monday Netball league has just wrapped up and the League saw stiff competition and unexpected thrills, with Netballerz, Sweaty Betty's, Cheslyn Chicas, and Net Chicks all emerging victorious.
In a hotly contested match, Have A Shot were narrowly beaten by the formidable Netballerz, with the final score standing at 17-20. It was a neck-to-neck competition with both teams putting their best foot forward, but in the end, Netballerz managed to edge out their opponents and secure a crucial win.
Sweaty Betty's emerged successful against Cheslyn Shooters with a decisive victory of 20-10. The team displayed excellent teamwork and strategy, keeping their opponents on the back foot throughout the game.
In one of the most intriguing matches of the night, Cheslyn Chicas managed a narrow win over Bibs And Balls, with a score of 12-10. An intense battle of skill and strategy, it was Cheslyn Chicas who finally emerged victorious, displaying remarkable resolve and tenacity.
The highlight of the evening was the thrilling match between Cheslyn Stars and Net Chicks. It was a fierce contest that ended with a razor-thin margin of one point, with Net Chicks winning by 9-8.
Meghan Griffitns, from Net Chicks, was declared the most valued player of the week. Griffitns' exceptional performance played a crucial role in helping her team clinch their victory. Her hard work, dedication, and on-court brilliance were widely appreciated by both teammates and opponents alike.
The top scorers of the week in the Premier League division were Netballerz and Sweaty Betty's, both scoring 20 goals.
