The highly anticipated Walsall Monday night's  Netball League commenced its season with a bang. The League division saw exhilarating performances and unexpected victories that have already set the tone for what promises to be an unforgettable season.

Sweaty Betty’s showcased an impressive display of skill and teamwork. They stormed through the competition, securing a commanding 24-5 victory against Bibs And Balls. Their astounding triumph was highlighted by the stellar performance of Laura Game, who was rightfully chosen as the week's most valued player. Laura's exceptional performance on the court contributed significantly to her team's success.

Not far behind in the scoreline, the Netballerz asserted their dominance over the Cheslyn Chicas with a remarkable 22-5 win. This resounding victory sets them as one to watch as the season unfolds.

The contest between Cheslyn Stars and Pink Ladies proved to be a thrilling encounter. The Pink Ladies emerged victorious, edging out the Cheslyn Stars by a 12-7 margin. However, the Cheslyn Stars put up a valiant fight, demonstrating that they are not to be underestimated this season.

Lastly, the Net Chicks faced off against the Cheslyn Shooters in a nail-biting match. Despite a spirited performance from the Cheslyn Shooters, the Net Chicks held their nerve, securing a 21-13 victory.

The first week of the season has undoubtedly left fans and players alike eager for the matches to come. As the league progresses, the Premier Division promises to deliver more thrilling encounters and exceptional performances.
