The electrifying first week of the Walsall Monday Netball League came to a thrilling close last night, setting an exhilarating tone for the rest of the season. The League, the most anticipated division, saw teams battling it out on the court, showing sheer determination and promising a season filled with thrilling and nail-biting matches.

Netballerz and Cheslyn Chicas faced each other in a fierce match, with Netballerz showing their dominance by taking home a victory with a score of 23-7. Despite the loss, Cheslyn Chicas showcased their star player, Chloe Round, who was named the most valued player of the week, displaying remarkable skill and agility.

Sweaty Betty's took on Bibs And Balls, and made a clear statement of their intent for this season. With a convincing win of 25-5, they are undoubtedly the team to watch this season.

The match between Cheslyn Stars and Have A Shot was a perfect display of true sportsmanship and beautifully executed tactics. Have A Shot took the victory with a score of 20-4, marking their territory in the League.

The final match of the week saw Net Chicks go head-to-head with Cheslyn Shooters in a hotly contested game. Cheslyn Shooters emerged victorious claiming a 16-9 win, showing they are not to be underestimated this season.

As the League moves into week two, all eyes will be on the top scorers from each team, Netballerz, Sweaty Betty's, Have A Shot and Cheslyn Shooters.
