Burntwood Wednesday Night Netball - Week 6

The evening kicked off with a captivating match between Black Widows and Chasers. The Black Widows emerged victorious, winning 20-13 in a tense encounter. The Widows showcased a remarkable game strategy that left the Chasers trailing in their wake.

However, the real shock of the night came from the Burntwood Stars, who, despite a valiant effort, fell short to the Hoop Dogz with an 8-12 defeat. Hoop Dogz's victory marked a significant shift in their season, boosting their confidence for the upcoming games.

Elsewhere in the League, the Bloxwich Beaters took no prisoners, dominating Hoop For The Best with a whopping 21-2 victory. The Pink Ladies also claimed an emphatic win over Hoop There It Is with a final score of 12-2.

The match between Pocket Rockets and Kiss My Pass was a nail-biter, ending with a very close score of 10-13 in favor of Kiss My Pass. Meanwhile, the Netball Ninjas suffered a significant loss, with Lightning Strikers shutting them out with a 16-0 victory.

This week's most valued player honor was bestowed upon Gemma Williams from Kiss My Pass. Williams put on an outstanding performance, showcasing phenomenal agility and technique, truly deserving of the recognition.

This week proved to be a thrilling mix of shakeups and standout performances. As we look ahead, the League's top scorers continue to be the Bloxwich Beaters, with their dominant offense setting the pace for the rest of the division.
