Burntwood Wednesday Night Netball - Week 4

In a thrilling night of competition, the Burntwood Wednesday Netball League saw a fierce showdown that had spectators on the edge of their seats. This fourth week of the season highlighted the competitive spirit and the passion that the players have for the game.

In a high-octane encounter, Black Widows dominated Pocket Rockets with a decisive 19-10 victory. The Widows showed an impressive display of teamwork and precision that left the Rockets looking for answers.

The Lightening Strikers also had a reason to celebrate, emerging victorious over Sister Squad with a score of 17-11. The Strikers showcased their nimble maneuvers and tight defense throughout the match, leaving little room for the Sister Squad to fight back.

Kiss My Pass, in a stellar performance, crushed The Pink Ladies with a whopping 19-2 scoreline. Their swift passes and accurate shooting proved too much for the Pink Ladies.

The night wasn’t without a nail-biting finish. In a closely contested match, Burntwood Stars narrowly edged out Hoop For The Best with the slimmest of margins, 9-7. This win marked a crucial turning point in their season.

The standout player of the week was undoubtedly Natalie Baggott of Burntwood Stars. Natalie displayed an extraordinary level of skill and determination, earning her the Most Valued Player title. Her quick reflexes and sharp shooting were instrumental in leading the Stars to their gripping victory.
