Burntwood Wednesday Night Netball - Week 2

In the heart-thumping second week of the Burntwood Wednesday Netball League, teams from the League exhibited stirring performances, proving their mettle on the court. Setting the stage ablaze was Emily Harris from the Pocket Rockets, who was heralded as the week's Most Valued Player.

Kicking off the night, Hoop Dogz played Hoop There It Is with a close 14-9. In another nail-biter, Black Widows demonstrated their prowess in an authoritative 25-7 victory over Hoop For The Best. Chasers and Kiss My Pass kept the spectators guessing until the last minute, with Chasers just about clinching the win with a one-point lead, 16-15.

The Burntwood Stars and Lightening Strikers had the crowd in a frenzy, showcasing an adrenaline-fueled contest that ended in a 19-18 win for the Stars. The Bloxwich Beaters left no stone unturned in their 29-7 demolition of the Netball Ninjas.

However, the highlight of the evening was the Pocket Rockets' thrilling 6-2 victory over The Pink Ladies. The star of the game, Emily Harris, with her exceptional performance, left an indelible mark on the competition and was unanimously named the Most Valued Player.

As we move towards the next week of the Burntwood Wednesday Netball League, the anticipation is palpable. With demonstrated grit and skill, these teams are set to entertain and inspire in equal measure.
