Burntwood Wednesday Night Netball

Black Widows played against Hoop For The Best, with the former clinching victory with a one-point margin, ending at 12-11. This was closely followed by an electrifying showdown between Chasers and Kiss My Pass that had everyone on the edge of their feet. Despite a valiant fight, Chasers fell short, with Kiss My Pass taking the match with a final score of 17-15.

Elsewhere in the league, Burntwood Stars were played Lightning Strikers, with a finale score of 18-13 to Lightning strikers. Meanwhile, Bloxwich Beaters held their ground the their game against Pocket Rockets, securing a 14-11 victory. The Pink Ladies also started their season on a high, winning against Sister Squad 10-4.

The standout player of the week was undoubtedly Kelsey Wells from Bloxwich Beaters, who was named as the most valued player. Wells' exceptional performance was a testament to her impeccable skills and her immense contribution to her team's victory.

The season has only just begun and if the first week is any indicator, we're in for a thrilling ride. As teams regroup and strategize for the weeks ahead, we can expect more high-octane clashes, tactical masterstrokes, and inspiring performances.
