In a thrilling week of Netball, the Charlbury Wednesday League witnessed an exciting final that embodied the spirit of the sport. This was the captivating 14th week, marking the end of an electrifying season.
A momentous event, the Wildcats emerged victorious with an impressive tally of 28 points and 14 wins, marking a triumphant end to a season that has witnessed intense competition and perseverance. Setting a high standard for the sport, the Wildcats’ performance has been nothing short of spectacular, etching their dominance in the league.
The game between Flaming Divas and Wildcats was a highlight, ending with the Wildcats outperforming their opponents by scoring 7 against the Divas' 4. Ball Saints also displayed an exemplary performance against Pocket Rockets, securing a 19-1 victory.
This week also spotlighted Fiona Barron from the Ball Saints, who was awarded the most valued player for her outstanding performance. Fiona's spectacular gameplay was a testament to her skills and contributed significantly to her team's success.
In another high scoring match, Netchicks defeated Charlbury Shooters with a scoreline of 17-3. Shoot for The Stars also emerged victorious against Sky Shooters, scoring 3-1.
