In the latest fixtures of the Charlbury Wednesday Social Netball League at Charlbury Community Centre, all teams once again converged for an evening of spirited competition. Despite the competitive matchups, the matches were characterised by a warm and friendly atmosphere, showcasing the camaraderie among the players.

We would like to remind all teams that you must be ready to play at your scheduled time slot. This week we had lots of ladies arriving and then start removing jewellery and sorting their nails out when they were due to take to the court. Jewellery would be safer if left at home and if your nails are too long, then you can purchase gloves for around £5.

The evening started with a match between Ball Saints and Shoot For The Stars. In a closely contested game, Shoot For The Stars emerged victorious with a 9-3 win over Ball Saints. Toni Ellis from Ball Saints was recognised as the Player of the Match for her exceptional performance on the court.

In another closely fought encounter, Pocket Rockets clashed with Charlbury Shooters. Pocket Rockets secured a narrow 4-2 victory over Charlbury Shooters in a hard-fought battle. Karina Bell from Pocket Rockets was awarded the Player of the Match for her outstanding contribution to the team's success.

The dominant Wildcats continued their impressive form as they faced off against Netchicks. Wildcats delivered a commanding performance, securing an 11-1 victory over Netchicks, maintaining their unbeaten record in the league.

In the final match of the evening, Sky Shooters took on Flaming Divas in another thrilling contest. Despite a valiant effort from Flaming Divas, Sky Shooters emerged victorious with a 7-4 win. Tamsyn Forsyth from Sky Shooters was recognised as the Player of the Match for her outstanding display on the court.

With Wildcats maintaining their unbeaten streak and extending their lead at the top of the table, the competition remains intense among the other teams. As the season progresses, the Charlbury Wednesday Social Netball League promises more exciting matchups and friendly competition among the teams.
