In the first week of the Neath Tuesday Netball League, we saw some exhilarating netball action unfold in the Premier League division. The season opener was a thrilling spectacle that lived up to the high expectations of fans, players, and coaches alike.

In the Premier League, the Vixens demonstrated their competitive prowess in a convincing 29-3 victory over Hoops I Did It Again. The show of skill and sportsmanship was nothing short of astounding, setting a high bar for the rest of the season. The Vixens certainly started their campaign on a strong note and are the current top scorers of the division.

Meanwhile, the Sweaty Betty's claimed victory in a nail-biting match against Pitch Slap, ending with a close score of 11-8. This closely contested match showcased the indomitable spirit of both teams and the tenacity that defines the Premier League.

Spice Goals also made their presence known, stunning the crowd with a 20-4 triumph over Shooting Stars. Their impressive scoring prowess adds an exciting dimension to the competition, raising the stakes for the upcoming matches.

Amidst the electrifying competition, one player stood out - Sally MacLean of the Steelers. MacLean was named the Most Valued Player of the week, a much-deserved recognition given her exceptional performance on court.
