Under the high-wattage lights of the Neath Tuesday Netball League, history unfolded as the 13th week of the season did not disappoint. The Premier League division was the stage for an array of high adrenaline displays, showcasing the best of netball talents.
The most remarkable match of the night was between the Hoops I Did It Again and the Steelers, where the latter emerged victorious with a staggering 23-5 win. This match reaffirmed the Steelers' stronghold in the league and added another feather in their cap.
In another closely fought encounter, Pitch Slap and The Vixens battled it out on the court with the latter taking home the victory by a small margin. The Vixens outscored Pitch Slap 18-15 in a game that had spectators on edge till the last whistle.
Additionally, the encounter between Shooting Stars and Spice Goals turned out to be one-sided, with Spice Goals dominating the court and winning 21-2. This victory provided a significant boost to their standing in the league.
Without a doubt, however, the star of the week was Shanai Bruton of the Steelers. Bruton showed exceptional skills and sportsmanship, earning the title of Most Valued Player of the week. Her performance on the court was nothing short of spectacular, contributing significantly to the Steelers' victory.
