Cannock Sunday Night Netball - Week 3

Well, what better way to spend your birthday than playing Netball with the best league! – Happy Birthday to Dream Team’s Krystal and Umpire Laura

The most closely contested match of the week was between Dream Team and Chase Chicks, ending in an 11-9 victory for Dream Team. It was an edge-of-the-seat encounter filled with suspense and excitement, encapsulating the true spirit of the game.

In another match, The Cheeky Chasers breezed past Good Sports with an overwhelming 28-3 victory. Their offensive prowess was clearly on display, leaving no room for Good Sports to recover. The Chasers' success is a testament to their relentless practice sessions and unwavering commitment to the sport.

Meanwhile, Go Net It lived up to their name by netting a whopping 18 goals against Cannock Comets, who managed to score only 2. The team's solid defense was the highlight of the match, limiting the Comets' opportunities to a bare minimum.

The Pocket Rockets rocketed their way to victory against the Cannock Chaos with a staggering 6-1 win. The Rockets shone brightly in the court, dominating their rivals with an impressive display of teamwork and strategy. Becky Defries, their star player, was rightfully awarded the title of the most valued player of the week. Defries' performance was nothing short of extraordinary, demonstrating her remarkable knack for netball with every pass and shot.

These scores have significantly shuffled the standings in the League. As we move further into the season, the competition is heating up, and the anticipation for the coming weeks is palpable. The teams are all set to battle it out on the netball court, eager to claim the top spot at the end of the season.
