Riveting Competition Continues on Week Two of Burntwood Sunday Netball League

The Burntwood Sunday Netball League returned for its second week of thrilling competition, with Premier League and Division 1 matches bringing spectators to the edge of their seats.

In the Premier League, the intensity was palpable as the Goal Diggers claimed a 19-13 victory over All Rounders. The Burntwood 7’s also succeeded in securing a decisive win, outscoring Nether Belles 19-10. The night's highest scoring game, however, saw Un Touch A Balls emerge triumphant over Spice Goals with an impressive 20-12 win.

Moving to Division 1, the fixtures were equally competitive. A Little Rusty scraped a narrow win, edging out Destructive Divas 7-5. The Bluebirds soared high with a 17-12 victory over Flaming Divas while Rogue Angels managed to outplay Purple Panthers, securing a 14-8 win.

The star of the week was undoubtedly Samantha Williams of Rogue Angels, who put on an exceptional performance to earn the title of 'Most Valued Player'. Williams’ extraordinary skill and on-court leadership propelled her team to victory, making her a force to be reckoned with as the season progresses.

Top scorers for each division were yet again on full display this week with their impeccable shooting skills. In the Premier League, the Un Touch A Balls led the scoreboard with a total of 20 goals. Meanwhile, in Division 1, the Bluebirds boasted the highest score with 17 goals.

Week two of the Burntwood Sunday Netball League proved to be a galvanizing spectacle of talent, teamwork, and tenacity. With such riveting action already underway, netball enthusiasts can only eagerly anticipate what the rest of the season holds.
