In the heart-pounding world of local Netball, the Burntwood Sunday League is reaching its exciting climax, with only two weeks left in the season. Every team in the Premier League and Division 1 divisions has started to display their best performances. Each match, each goal, could be the deciding factor in this nail-biting finale.

In the Premier League, Burntwood 7's triumphed over All Rounders with a final score of 18-13 in a thoroughly engaging match. The Destructive Divas, however, weren't so lucky as they succumbed to a 34-11 defeat to the Un Touch A Balls. Meanwhile, the Flaming Divas turned up the heat against Spice Goals with a 20-12 victory, adding more twists and turns to the league standings.

Over to Division 1, where the Bluebirds managed to edge past A Little Rusty in a close encounter that ended 16-14. The Nether Belles, however, had an easy day at the office as they trounced Goal Diggers 12-2. The Purple Panthers roared to an 11-6 victory over Rogue Angels, thanks in no small part to the league's Most Valued Player of the week, Laura Cooper.

Laura's stellar performances continue to be the talking point of the season. Her skillful plays and impressive scoring have substantiated her recognition as the most valued player this week.

As the season draws closer to its end, it's imperative that all teams looking to continue their sporting journey secure their place for the next season. The top scorers for each division will be announced soon, adding another layer of anticipation as we near the end of this thrilling season.
