Burntwood Sunday Night Netball - Week 9

In a thrilling night of action, the Burntwood Sunday Night Netball league reached its ninth week, seeing some fiercely contested matches in both the Premier League and Division 1.

In the Premier League, the battle was fierce as Goal Diggers faced off against Nets Go. In a high scoring game, Nets Go managed to come out on top with a 20-14 victory. The second match of the night saw A Little Rusty clashing with the Flaming Divas. Despite a valiant effort, A Little Rusty fell short with a final score of 29-18 in favour of the Divas. But the highlight of the night was the match between Burntwood 7's and Spice Goals. Burntwood 7's, spurred by their star player, Rachel Hawthorne, claimed a win with a score line of 22-10.

Over in Division 1, Bluebirds and Purple Panthers engaged in a nail-biting match that ultimately saw the Panthers emerging triumphant with a 15-10 win. The All-Rounders had a decisive victory over Rogue Angels, scoring a 26-6 win. The clash between Destructive Divas and Nether Belles ended with the Belles securing a comfortable 18-6 win.

Rachel Hawthorne of Burntwood 7's was named the most valued player of the week, earning the accolade for her outstanding performance. 

The Burntwood Sunday Netball league continues to serve as a platform for fierce competition and exceptional sportsmanship as the season progresses. As we look forward to the tenth week, players eagerly await the thrilling contests ahead.
