In a thrilling week of sporting action, the Burntwood Sunday Netball League saw some heart-stopping games, as teams from the Premier League and Division 1 battled it out on the court in their ninth week.

In the Premier League, Flaming Divas and All Rounders kept spectators on their toes with a nail-biting duel that ended in a slim victory for the Divas, 23-21. Despite a commendable effort from All Rounders, Flaming Divas' relentless attack clinched them the game in the last few minutes. In another neck-to-neck clash, Destructive Divas stood victorious with a narrow win over Spice Goals, with a final score of 11-9. The Premier League concluded with an assertive showing from Burntwood 7's, dominating Un Touch A Balls with a 19-7 victory.

Meanwhile, in Division 1, the games were just as intense. The Purple Panthers clawed their way to a tight 9-8 victory over A Little Rusty. Rogue Angels soared over Nether Belles with a 14-8 win, delivering a remarkable performance. The standout player of the week was Sarah Edgar from Rogue Angels. Her exceptional skill and tireless play stood out amidst the fierce competition, earning her the title of Most Valued Player. In the final game of Division 1, Goal Diggers managed to outscore Bluebirds 14-11 in a closely fought match.

As we head into the next week, the excitement continues to build. The teams continue to battle for supremacy, their eyes set on the coveted top spots in their divisions. With just a few weeks left in the season, every match counts, and there's everything to play for in the Burntwood Sunday Netball League.
