In the heart of Walsall, the opening week of the highly anticipated netball league brought about some exciting results in the League. The season kicked off with an electrifying start, showcasing top-tier netball, the likes of which the city has never seen before.

The Walsall Wonders made a triumphant entry into the event, defeating the Bloxwich Ballers with a stunning score of 13 - 5. Untouchables, on the other hand, fought valiantly, but couldn't beat the Bloxwich Divas, who managed an impressive 18 - 11 victory. The Pink Ladies also dominated the court, securing an 11 - 2 win against the Leamore Warriors. The highlight of the night, however, was the game between No Pain No Gain and Nets Go, where the latter team crushed their opposition with an incredible score of 34 - 5.

This week's most valued player was none other than Emma Casewell from the Untouchables. Despite the team's loss, Casewell's exceptional performance was a silver lining, showing great potential for the rest of the season.

The top scorers for the League division were Nets Go, who set the bar high with their brilliant performance. This substantial lead early in the season creates an exciting dynamic for the upcoming games and sets the stage for an eventful season.
