The Kidderminster Tuesday Night Netball league hit its peak last night as the teams stepped onto the court for the 5th week of the season. The competition was fierce, and the games were nail-bitingly close, with teams giving it their all to secure crucial points on the leaderboard.
A sensational match between Shooting Stars and A Little Rusty was brilliant way to set the tone for the evening. The Shooting Stars came out on top with a 21-5 victory, proving their dominance in the league.
However, the spotlight was stolen by the match-up between Pink Panthers and Goal Diggers. Everyone in the sports hall were on the edge of their seats and could not have asked for a more exciting game.
The tightest match of the night was the clash between Steelers and Hoops I Did It Again, with the Steelers clinching a victory by the slimmest of margins, 6-5. On The Ball also made a statement by defeating Game Of Throws 13-2, while We Need A Little Time overcame Iron Maidens with the tight score of 5-2.
Despite A Little Rusty's result, their star player, Patricia Mitchell, shone brightly on the court. She was named the Most Valued Player of the week, a true testament to her impressive skills and relentless effort.
As we move into Week 6, all eyes will be on the teams at the top, and fans will be eager to see if their favorites can maintain their winning streaks. This season has already seen some high-octane action, and it's only going to get more exciting.
