Ashbourne Wednesday Night Netball - End of season
Congratulations to the winners of the Ashbourne league Pass me the Wine and to the runners up Nets get Physical. Also a huge well done to Ella Holmes from Ball of Fame, who was awarded most valued player of the Season.
Pass Me The Wine played Nets Get Physical with a score of 10-3, the game went on to help secure Pass Me The Wine the top spot in the league.
Meanwhile, Bourne To Play took a 20-8 victory over Ball Of Fame. Sling It Sisters managed to edge past Bourne Lucky with a slim margin, ending the game with a score of 9-8. The Ash-tonishers battled hard but fell to Ash & Dash with a score of 5-11.
Among the individual performances, the most valued player of the week was Lisa Eleftheriou from The Ash-tonishers. Despite the team's loss, Eleftheriou's exceptional skills and unwavering determination shone through, earning her the coveted title.
