Ashbourne Wednesday Netball League 8th January

In a thrilling week 4 of the Ashbourne Wednesday Netball League, competition in the division was tighter than ever with each squad putting up a gallant fight. The court was ablaze with energy and sportsmanship as the teams battled it out for the top spots.

First up in the League, Nets Get Physical clashed with Ash & Dash, the latter sneaking a win with a close score of 10-7. The three-point difference echoed the fierce competition and the relentless fight put up by both sides.

Next, The Ash-tonishers took on Bourne Lucky, in a match that saw a low scoring but highly tactical game. Bourne Lucky edged out their opponents with a hard-fought 4-2 victory. The strategic moves and defensive prowess displayed by both teams were commendable.

The match between Sling It Sisters and Ball Of Fame saw Ball Of Fame take the win with an impressive 15-8 victory. Their dynamic gameplay and accurate shooting were key to their triumph.

However, the highlight of the week was the match between Bourne To Play and Pass Me The Wine. Despite Pass Me The Wine taking the match 12-8, the standout player was Laura Mounser from the Bourne To Play team. Mounser demonstrated spectacular athleticism and skill, securing her the title of the week's most valued player.

The Ashbourne Wednesday League continues to showcase high levels of talent and competition, and we eagerly anticipate the upcoming matches. As the league progresses, it will be fascinating to see if the top scorers can maintain their form and which team will ultimately triumph in the division.
