In a thrilling display of sportsmanship and endurance, on the eighth week of the Telford Sunday Netball league, teams across the Premier League and Division 1 battled it out fiercely on the court. Only two weeks remain in the season, and as the tension mounts, each team is more determined than ever to secure a position for the next season.

In the Premier League, the Telford Twerkers demonstrated their dominance with a 22-9 victory over the Glitterballs. A dynamic performance by Pitch Perfect saw a 12-6 win against the Wrecking Ballers and Kiss My Pass swept the court with a striking 22-7 win over Hoops I Did It Again.

In Division 1, a nail-biting match between the Spice Goals and Chaos Crew had fans on the edge of their seats, ending in a 12- 8 win for Spice Goals. Meanwhile, in a shocking turn of events, Telford Titans triumphed over Netball Numpties with a close 20-17 victory. The Hot Shots outplayed the Hoopdoggz with a winning score of 6-4 in a closely contested battle.

The top scorers of each division were undoubtedly the Telford Twerkers for the Premier League and the Telford Titans for Division 1, further igniting the competition in the coming weeks.

The most valued player of the week was Shannon Tranter from Netball Numpties, who, despite her team’s result, showed remarkable skill and tenacity on the court. Her performance stands as a testament to the level of talent and sportsmanship displayed throughout the league.
